THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL
Within our everyday lives, we can forget the simplicity that ensures us we are alive. We act “entitled” to our survival as if it was a certain “amenity”. We forget to simply; Breathe in, Breathe out… One foot in front of the other, one step at a time…
On the Appalachian Trail (The AT as it is referred as) the simplicity and essence of freedom can be achieved in just this manner.
Breathe In.
Breathe Out.
One foot in front of another.
One Step at a Time.
Survival is a task.
Survival is A Community.
One realizes, after 115.8 miles trekked in a little more than 7 days… After a total elevation gain and loss of 36,455.6 feet over that very stretch of distance… After shouldering 40lbs on ones back containing all that one needs to survive… Nothing more, Nothing less… After trekking with beloved friends, and connecting with countless others… One can realize…In this life, some may walk with a different stride, but we all get blisters.
Now walk the walk with me. God Bless.
